Beauty Trends to Look Forward to in 2021

 

According to all the top Beauty Blog, it is predicted that 2021 will bring revolution in the beauty industry.

Remember thick, plump lips and Korean glass skin? Those were the trends back then that everyone wished to achieve. And as the decade ends, it’s time to leave those behind for the past decade to enjoy. As I scroll through the top beauty trends of 2020; all I’m thinking is: “Did Euphoria influence these trends? They mostly scream Euphoria to me!”. Ok. So, if you’re new to Euphoria; I’ll share an image of the series below, and you’ll get what I’m saying.

1. Natural, Glowing Skin

This doesn’t mean Korean Glass Skin. Let’s stop the trend as it only makes our skin look oily here in the Philippines' humid climate. Let’s leave the trend over for Korea as the trend fits well with their cool, dry weather there. What I mean by natural and glowing skin is the kind of skin that you get when you have good sleep and you’re well hydrated.

2. Bold Lips

This is usually paired with the natural, glowing skin look. With subtle brushed brows and pink blush, matte lipstick or not, as long as you’re wearing a bright lipstick; then you are following the 2020 trend!

3. Bright Eyeliner

Remember the 80s? Because of our obvious love for retro; 2020 becomes the time for bright neon eyeliner.

4. Sparkly Eyeshadow

Sparkly eyeshadows are fun! It gives your lids some extra dimension. Move aside, matte eyeshadow looks! We are now into the "pop" of glitter!
